ONLINE SHORT STORY CONTEST
“My Pocket Story”
A micro-story writing contest that is completely online.
Q – How do I participate?
A – In order to participate fill out the registration form at this link. You will receive an email from the site moderator.
Please follow the instructions provided in the email in order to submit your short story to the website.
Q – What is an online contest?
A – A contest where you do not have to wait for a month for all participants to finish submitting their entries!
The contest window will be 24 hours.
The topic will be provided at the start of the contest. Submissions will close 24 hours later.
Almost like the story writing contests at school!
Q – What are the important dates?
A – Registration Dates: 21st April -26th April’ 14
Contest Starts: 26th April, 9 AM IST
Contest Ends: 27th April, 9 AM IST
Q – Who judges the contest?
A – The contest will be judged by a panel consisting of judges who are
veterans in the fields of writing, publishing and teaching (check out their profiles here)

That’s right! The final score will be a combination of judge’s score and social voting score.
Social voting score is calculated using the number of likes, tweets and +1’s your entry gathers.
So once you see your story published on the website, promote it on your social media circles, and collect as many votes as possible.
