What Are We Doing to Nature? [POEM]

Flabbergasted I am with what human actions are doing.

This is nothing doing, but ripping

The earth of it’s being earthy.

It just proves that we ain’t worthy

Now. We were before, in a time called history

When nature’s beauty never hid as an oblivious mystery;

When deserts were a far and rare sight

And greenery persisted to the left and right.

But now all populations of human – white, black, blond and brown

Have self-proclaimed themselves as rulers with a crown,

Showing creativity where it is unnecessary

And creating polluted lands from where it was lush and airy.

The education teaches us this too,

And it’s a fact, don’t deny, it is very true.

When nature get’s a thumbnail’s importance,

False human culture and sizeable advancement get a giant hand’s dominance.

All that our creator made since time immemorial,

We are plundering it back in its tomb and memorial.

Nature screams it out – “do not save me, just don’t interfere!

For if you forget me, there will be everything to fear.

First think, what are we doing, what were we?

And then there shall be a way forward, from this burden to get free.
