Limerick On Traffic Jams In India

traffic jams in india
Written by Arunima

“They crawled like snails,
On gray gravel trails,
Honking, beeping, cursing, hollering,
Biding, dawdling or just relaxing.
Oh, if only they could sprout feathers of a quail!”

Slow moving traffic is a daily agony for most of India’s population that lives in metro cities. The reference to the quail – a quail is a bird that can take off nearly vertically, and fly very fast for very short distances. If only our vehicles could do that!
